The popular Craft Fair Food Drive returns to the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center,
800 Gabreski Lane, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. The event features
more than 100 crafters selling handmade crafts, wooden wares, pottery, quilts, glass art, beach art,
wreaths, pet items and more! Vendor space costs crafters a donation of nonperishable food items or
pet food to the Lowcountry Food Bank. Shoppers gain entry to the event with a donation of
nonperishable food item or pet food. Monetary donations are also accepted in lieu of nonperishable
food. Last year’s event drew more than 1,500 attendees, and organizers collected 5,492 pounds of
food and an estimated $2000 for the Lowcountry Food Bank. Interested in participating as a 2020
vendor? For more information, contact Ms. Mickey Davis at 6thfoodbankcraftfair@gmail.com. We
hope to see you there!
