The Grand Strand British Car Club is hosting its 11th annual Myrtle Beach BRITFEST at The Market Common on Saturday October 5th from 9AM to 4PM, rain or shine. The show field is located at the corner of Johnson and Hendrick Avenues behind the King Street Grille. BRITFEST is a very popular regional British car show featuring more than 100 new, classic, antique and rare British cars and motorcycles such as Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, MG, Mini-Cooper, Moke, Morgan, Rolls Royce, Sunbeam, Triumph, TVR and Wolseley. During the day there will be an English Tea, Best Hat Competition and club regalia sales. Admission is free and there will be food trucks from which to purchase light meals and snacks. Those who have registered their cars for show are eligible to vote for their favorite “Little British Car” and awards will be presented to winners of the various categories.
