Compassion Through Fashion, presented by Maguire Law Firm, is an inspiring fashion show and fundraiser benefiting New Directions of Horry County.
CTF showcases one-of-a-kind entries made of reused, repurposed, or recyclable materials, handcrafted by local community members, groups, and businesses. To create an entry, local artists take items that have been thrown away, broken, discarded, or forgotten – materials such as water bottles, CD’s, trash bags, receipts, coffee filters, newspaper, etc.- and turn them into incredible outfits.
Featuring a judged fashion show, silent auction, cocktail hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres, and more, this event brings together the best creatives in Myrtle Beach, for fun, fashion, and most of all- a great cause.
New Directions is an organization dedicated to ending homelessness, poverty, and addiction in Myrtle Beach, SC. Through the operation of shelters for men, women, and families with children, they help those in crisis recover through basic needs, connection to resources, and community support.
All proceeds support the efforts to help people in need achieve their best life possible.
