The Market Common Myrtle Beach Movies Film Series concludes with Shag that will be held Saturday, March 21st. Shag, is MGM’s motion picture that was made and set in Myrtle Beach, SC, and voted by the readers of the Southern lifestyle magazine, Garden & Gun, as the 4th Best Movie Made in the South*. It celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019.
Guests will be welcomed to Tupelo Honey, 3042 Howard Avenue, at The Market Common, Myrtle Beach’s premiere shopping, dining and entertainment destination. They will enjoy upscale southern fare while hearing the story behind the making of the motion picture. The delightful experience culminates with a private screening of the beloved film. An all-inclusive ticket that includes the private screening, the meal, tax and tip is $25. A cash bar will be available.
